virus protection

Hi, all. Three days into the school year and we find we need some serious
virus protection software-- something for both mac and pc platforms  with
total accuracy, easy of use, great technical support... Does such an animal
exist?  Has anyone evaluated them lately, particularly McAfee, Symantec
Norton Anti-virus and Dr. Solomon? Thanks for your input.
