	LPRC Announces November Guest Speaker: 
	Kathy Miller
	Marketing Your Technology 

   Kathy Miller, the Editor of the newsletter Marketing 
   Library Services <http://ww.infotoday.com/mls.htm>, 
   will tell how to promote the technology of the future 
   in order to shed the bookworm image of the past. The 
   Managing Editor of the magazine, Computers in Libraries, 
   she has also worked in public and academic libraries.
	
   The event will be sponsored by the Library Public 
   Relations Council <http://www.ssdesign.com/librarypr/
   content/aboutlprc.shtml> and will be held Thursday, 
   November 6, 1997 (5:30pm) at La Maison Japonaise, 
   125 East 39, New York City. Dinner will be served 
   including assorted appetizers, choice of entree from 
   menu, dessert, and beverage (glass of wine included).
