Altavista: Required Terms

For the search
	 +nesbeitt +library +bridgewater 

I get entirely different results on Alta Vista:

	+nesbeitt +library  = 200 hits
	
	+nesbeitt +library +bridgewater = 6 hits


Trying this search on Ultraseek (IMO a superior search engine to
Alta Vista), I get these results:

	+nesbeitt +library = 12 hits

	+nesbeitt +library +bridgewater = 4 hits

Seems to me that the AND function of the + sign is working quite well.
