		CHILDREN'S LIBRARIAN

Full time Children's Librarian position available in a large 
regional library in O'Fallon, MO.  Duties in the Children's 
Department will include reference, program development and 
implementation, materials selection, and heavy public service 
responsibilities.  Assist with special assignments including 
community programming and developing young adult programs.  Prefer 
experience working with children and young adults or public services 
experience, and familiarity with CD-ROMs and the Internet.

Work schedule will include day, evening and weekend hours.  Must 
have an accredited MLS; new graduates are encouraged to apply.   
Excellent benefits; normal starting salary: $28,092 for MLS, and 
$31,368 for second masters.  The Library District is located just 
west of St. Louis, MO in the state's fastest growing county.
