Problem fixed.

The problem I was having with CLASSPATH and java_301 turned out to be
caused by an "upgrade" I downloaded from Microsoft.  Between that and
the security bugs, Microsoft is in sorry shape.  Coincidentally(maybe),
the bug I experienced only caused problems in Netscape.  The fix to the
problem was pointed out in an earlier message so I won't go into details
here.
