updating a 'what's new' page -Reply

On the library site  we currently use a "highlights for the month
of..." page, plus we emphasize new stuff on the index page, plus
we occasionally use things like NEW! tags with the caveat that
when it's old it shouldn't say NEW! any more... and that's a
maintenance issue, as others have pointed out...
