HTML question - thanks

Thank to all who answered my question concerning non-repeating 
background images.

Unfortunaly the concensus was that it can't be done, except for 
making the image large enough to fit the page.
Thomas Dowling pointed out that there was a way to do it, using 
cascading style sheets which unfortunaly isn't supported by any 
common browser.
