Linking to .cfm files

I am trying to link to a site that uses a .cfm extension (and a database) 
to offer their pages. A LITTLE research turns up a clue about .cfm.....it 
is a Cold Fusion format (I told you it was a "little"..)

The page I would like to link to is:
http://www.corptech.com/EmpTrends/empmenu.cfm?menu=main

But I always get an error report.  Has anyone run into this before?
Is there a way I can link to THIS page rather than to the top:
http://www.corptech.com/

OR should I write the webmaster cause the problem is on their end? I am
running 16 bit Windows, Netscape 3.0 not java enabled--but everything is
working... (Most of my users are pretty much the same so if it can only be
done from Netscape 4.0 with Java I will have to pass..)
