Name for Subject Sites

My overall question is HOW to organize an "Internet Search" page
that will divide up various search tools into groups that would help
students wisely decide on a particular tool and WHAT to call those
groupings.
Here are some of the categories I'm thinking about:
Search Engines (like Alta Vista)
Meta Search Sites (those that search mulitiple engines)
* Subject Trees (like Yahoo, Angus)
Email (selected sites that search for addresses)
Listservs (sites that identify listservs)
* In particular, I am looking for a word or short phrase to describe
sites like Yahoo. Currently, we call this kind of site a "Subject
Tree" on our "Internet Search" page. However, I'm looking for
something that does not have the word "subject" in it so that our
patrons will not be confused with the subject lists (e.g., business,
education, etc.) that we have on a separate "Internet Resources"
page.
Any suggestions for a replacment to "Subject Trees"? Other
suggestions?
