Do people "pass by" plain-text sites?

I would be very surprised if anyone would use Lynx unless it was for a
grant to disabled access.

That seems to have been a point that was missed.  Images whose alt it
"[IMAGE]" will tend to keep the disabled away, as will a lack of either
non-frames or image-map based navigation links.
