Linda,

	Funny you should ask....

	I have been doing this for years using Lynx / Rlogin for Internet
and Vista (rlogin) access.

	I will be writing Visual Basic Code to "build-my-own-browser" to
do just what you describe, this summer / fall (/winter?).  I developed a
tcp/ip protocol for sending and receiving barcodes cross the net in a
secure fashion, was well as an interface into the Dynix library system.

	So,  If you hear of a commercial vendor, please let me know, since
it would save me from re-inventing the wheel.  Or, if you want, I can send
more details of my experiences....
