Good LINUX books?

Linux in a Nutshell draws liberally on (i.e. reproduces) much that is in
Unix in a Nutshell, so you're right to ask which would be better. I've
used the Unix book for years.

Both contain the standard Unix commands and utilities. Where operation of
the commands, etc varies the Linux book explains the options, parameters,
etc available in Linux, while the other, as you say, describes Solaris and
similar systems. For Linux users I'd recommend the Linux version
unequivocally.
