As was originally stated, there is clearly a plethora of opinions relating
to copyright and the concept of "ownership of information."  My advice is
that for those who object to an item being forwarded, they delete it from
their own inbox & archives, and not forward it.  While I think the
question of whether librarians should or should not be copyright police is
perhaps debateable (I think we should NOT) - I think the obvious &
simplest solution is for would-be policers to police themselves.
