Webtv

I tried Webtv in a store.  Looking for information on a canoe trek
on Bowrin lakes in British Columbia.  It worked fine for that.  The
$300 does not seem a major impediment, but I wonder who
can afford an extra phone line and an Internet account, that
can not also afford a PC.  A true intelligent, networked,
entertainment, information, communication, station will
be great.  But that is a long way from Webtv.  IMHO Webtv is not
a new killer app.
