Netscape 3.01 Install Error

I am attempting to install Netscape 3.0 on a new pentium with a 1 gig 
harddrive and am getting an error message: "Error 101: Setup is unable 
to find a hard disk location to store temporary files."  
It goes on to tell me to free up disk space and then run setup again. 
 I know there is plenty of disk space.  Any ideas on this problem?
