I just logged on and registered. I am not sure how they plan to make
money - perhaps ads - but the process of learning and signing up seem
straightforward. Each site includes 2MB of space. You have to put
their logo on your pages - not a problem. There is a one-day lag
between signup and being able to access the system, so I have not been
able to check out their email.

Hi Susie!
I haven't personally checked it out yet, but I've just seen an
announcement stating that anyone can get a free home page and email
at HowdyNeighbor.com
 The website: http://www.howdyneighbor.com/

 Hope it's a worthwhile lead!
 Best regards, Loretta Weiss-Morris
