Internet 2: Your Thoughts

Folks, I am wrapping up my next column for AL (overdue--I'm
trying to get it done NLT Friday a.m.) on Internet 2.  I don't know
how familiar you are with this; it is one of the "next-generation
Internet" initiatives.  You can find out more at:

anyway, I had originally not intended to solicit the "person in the
street" quotes that I usually use, but as my thoughts have gelled
(congealed?) on this issue, I thought it might be interesting to see
what folks had to say about Internet 2 and/or similar initiatives in
connection with the long-term impact on libraries and/or
librarians.
