Verity V3.0

Hello all,

We just installed Verity V3.0 and noticed that the functionality 
has actually gotten worse. 

In Search'97 V2.1 it stated that "You can index your own web site
or other web sites."

In Search'97 V3.0 it states that "The default functionality of the 
Verity spider inlcudes file walking of any network-available file
system, and web crawling of the host on which Information Server
is installed. ... You can upgrade your Verity spider license to 
include domain-wide web crawling or unlimited, multi-domain
web crawling."

So my questions: 
        1) Has anyone else run across this?
and
        2) How have you dealt with it?
