Internet Librarian '97 Conference

Does anyone know much about the Internet Librarian '97 conference being
held in Monterey, California this November?  I've browsed the materials at
<http://www.infotoday.com/>, but can't tell if it will be a useful
conference or if it's just a vendor marketing tool.  Any opinions?
