EReserves Acrobat PDFWriter distribution?

Has anyone looked into distributing copies of the PDFWriter "printer" 
driver to people in faculty to make ready-to-serve PDF documents for 
Electronic Reserves? I have just asked Adobe about distribution 
specifics, but there has been no response as of yet. Any help would be 
appreciated, and posted back to the list...
