Has anyone had any luck getting the Excite Web Search Engine 1.1 for NT to
work with IIS 3.0?
The FAQ says that if you get a "No such file or directory" error message
it's because your permissions are not correctly set. Well, I've given my
WWW users Full Control over everything having to do with this search
engine and still it does not work. I'm wondering if I need to set
something up in IIS itself to map .cgi files to perl.exe? (BTW, I can't
find the Registry entry for this mapping anywhere.)
I really want to use this engine because it seems like it would be so much
easier to use than the MS Index Server.
