LIBRARY SYSTEMS COORDINATOR

Provides leadership and coordinates overall planning, management and
training in use of library's III Information System, including desktop
applications and local network. Supervises system technician and student
staff. Provides reference and instruction. ALA accredited MLS or equivalent;
experience/coursework in application of information technology to library
services; working knowledge  of information standards (Z39.50, MARC, HTML,
SGML); PC hardware/software products; CD-ROM technology; telecommunications;
and network applications, including client server architecture. Working
knowledge of print and electronic reference sources; experience in computer
training; excellent organizational, planning, problem solving, and
communication skills; and a strong service orientation. Professional
experience in the maintenance of an integrated library automation system;
experience in an academic library; and familiarity with computer
programming, multimedia, and Macintosh hardware and software preferred.

Hiring range: $32,244-$36,636; generous benefits package. Interested individuals
