Print selection in Netscape

Web4Libbers:

Our library is using Netscape 3.0 on several Windows 95 machines.  The
option to print selected text is grayed out in the print window even
when text has been selected.  Is there anyway to enable this option?
 
If not, how do you go about printing out a small part of a web page? 
The best solution I have found so far is to go to print preview, find
the page with the information I want, and then select only that page for
printing.  I sometimes also copy and paste to WordPad but both of these
solutions are rather cumbersome.
