Numeric information is widely used by business, in academia, and by
schools.   However, the application of  visualization to help with
the process of finding and evaluating needed data has been
limited
by
the
need
to
master
arcane
visualization
software.



David
Barber
will
talk
about
how
classification
of
numerical
resources
can
be
used
to
make
it
easier

to
incorporate
visualization
into
WWW-based
numeric
data
access
systems.

He
will
discuss
how
he
plans
to
use
these
techniques
to
enhance
browsing
and

selection
of
OhioLINK's
planned
numeric
data
resources.

>From Route 287 Northbound, take exit 6 (Route 527/ New Brunswick/
South Bound Brook). Follow Route 527 North to the first Traffic light
and make a left (Davidson Ave).  Hotel is second building on the left,
second driveway entrance.  Hotel is adjacent to Garden State Exhibit
Center.

>From Route 287 Southbound, take exit 6 (Route 527/ Easton Avenue /New
Brunswick).  At the bottom of the exit ramp get immediately into the
left lane and make a left ahnd Turn. (Go under the overpass of Route
287. Once you have turned left, go straight (bearing to your right -
527 North) t o the first Traffic light and make a left (Davidson
Ave).  Hotel is second building on the left, second driveway
entrance.  Hotel is adjacent to Garden State Exhibit Center.
