Making Bookmarks read-only

The same is true on a Mac (I think). The file is called bookmarks.html and
is usually in the Preferences folder in Netscape (use Find to locate the
file). When you have found it, click on the filename so that it is
highlighted, and then point to File on the menubar and choose Get Info. A
window should appear with information about the file. To make it read only,
click on the box labelled: Locked
This will mean that the file will be read only ... until someone (hopefully
you!) chooses to unlock it.
Seems to work on my Mac.
