There are several really good resources the discuss tracking audiences
on the web and a good place to start is the Conaghan Report at
http://www.naa.org/news/webcount.html. It also contains links to
other sites with good information including:
     Getting real about Usage Statistics
     (http://www.naa.org/news/stehle.html).

If you haven't seen the report, Jim Conaghan from the Newspaper
Association of America, has written a terrific summary about usage
statistics. He also updates his report periodically with links to
other discussions of this sort of thing. I highly recommend!

Does anyone one know of a good reference source (online or print) that has a
good discussion, and definitions, for web site usage statistics?

Thanks,
David
