rlogin

I'm trying to create a link from our webpage to our card catalog
utilizing a remote login, without success. 
Can anyone tell me how to do this.
I've tried creating a link using (rlogin://ccplcat@cumberland.lib.nc.us)
ccplcat is the login at the host cumberland.lib.nc.us.
Our webpage sets on a NT3.51 platform and The card catalog sets on a Unix 
platform.
