Graphic packages for web page design -Reply

Apologies if this has been posted already.  The May/June issue of Online
has a really good article by Walt Crawford, "Choosing your 'personal
best' software and hardware."  (Vol 20 #3 p 78ff)  He makes some very
sound points about selecting according to need. He doesn't mention
creating graphics for the Web, but his comments are still apropos.  Very
common-sense advice with a few brand names tossed in for discussion
and comparision.
