Hello all,
Thanks to all the good folks who've replied to my earlier message. Seems
there are cases when Netscape 2.0.1 creates conflicts with WP 6.1.
Below, please find what we've discovered.
David
P.S. I'll be forwarding this information to Netscape.

DAVID:
Please forward to your list.
The problem experienced at LSU Libraries, so far, has been on at least two
IBM PCs, Model 58H (Pentium).
One solution offered by WordPerfect (Corel) was to:
1. Rename several files (listed below) suspected of being
changed/overwritten by newer programs
2. Re-install WordPerfect
This "quick fix" only restores the WordPerfect. At this point Netscape 2.0
should be re-installed, NOT Netscape 2.01.
The files changed are located in the \Windows\System directory:
COMPOBJ.DLL
MFCOLEUI.DLL
OLE2.DLL
OLE2DISP.DLL
OLE2NLS.DLL - used by Windows and must be renamed/deleted at a DOS prompt
after exiting Windows
OLE2PROX.DLL
STORAGE.DLL
TYPELIB.DLL
OLE2.REG
You will be able to confirm the changes by comparing the dates of the
renamed files with the re-installed files from WordPerfect.
Hope this helps.
Tom Brewer
