Sorry to reply to my own message, but I failed to mention that
we are looking for a stand-alone editor. We are a totally
WordPerfect Campus and we didn't like the WP Internet add-on.
I have heard that the Word add-on is much better, but hardly
anyone on campus runs Word.
I use Hot Dog myself and like it very much!

I hesitate to send this, as there was just a request
for good editors, but here goes:
We are looking into really expanding web page creation across
campus and are looking for a simple, WYSIWYG editor. We would
like to have one that doesn't require the user to know *any*
HTML, although we will certainly teach the the basic concepts
anyway. The other requirement for this editor is that it be FREE.
I have found GNNpress (formerly NaviPress) which works well (and
is FREE!). But it also has a lot of features tied to its server
(which we don't use) that would be confusing to our users.
Any suggestions are welcomed.
