I spoke with Daryl about her problems and it turned out that she was 
referring to the archive created by the Medical College of Wisconsin 
Libraries, NOT the official, authoritative archive at

We have no control over any other archive. I encourage everyone to use 
ours, as we are committed to maintaining it well. Thanks,

"Well-maintained archive"??  Usually yes, but I've been trying to use it 
this past week and can't access the current directory. It loops back and 
forth from parent directory to current directory. Hadn't mentioned it 
earlier but now seems like a good time to bring it up.
