I've even used html to create a handout for students who've just attended
a tutorial session on using the Internet for their particular subject.
You can have a lot of fun with html--throw in some nice banners (really
a modified table) and some graphics (gifs or jpeg).
I use it for presentations instead of Powerpoint to avoid the "my
'slides' look vaguely like the last speaker's" scenario!
