The Berkeley Public Library has completed a report on its first year of
offering public access to the Internet, as a part of the California State
Library Information to the People Project (InFoPeople.) To see it, check:

Some highlights:
* More than 1,000 users registered
* More than 7,000 hours in use
* Over 600 people attended the library's intro classes
* Volunteer tutors trained more than 180 users
* Detailed report from 150 responses to our new feedback form
* Use of web site increased from 60 million bytes transferred
to 295 million bytes.
