Slow windows httpd server (fwd)

Comparing speeds of servers gets tricky real fast. For example, there is
a program out (now in free beta form) for the Macintosh that is a
graphics-only accelerated Web server. It is called Rush Hour and is
available at:
http://www.maxum.com/RushHour/
Please note this is Macintosh only. The concept is that you serve your
Web pages from a general-purpose server like Webstar, and you serve
your images from Rush Hour at faster rates than would be possible if
Webstar handled it all.
Another strategy that virtually anyone can use is to distribute your
stuff across two or more Web servers. Put all your documents on one
server and all your images on another. That way the world thinks you have
only one Web server but it responds much faster than if that was the case.

I made two mistakes in my last posting regarding this problem. To
clarify:
1) In fact our pages are not graphics intensive.
2) If you want to test it and tell me how fast or slow the home
page loads the address is:
http://www.library.american.edu
and to compare us to the campus page try
http://www.american.edu
Thanks

non-pentium processor.
