Hardware related mailing lists

I have a question that is not quite on topic for this lists:

Are Dell Dimension computers adequate to the task for networking in a 
library environment (as opposed to Dell Optiplex)?

What mailing list(s) should a question like this go to?  Are there any 
hardware related library mailing lists out there?

Oh, and if any of you have a network where you've successfully (or 
unsuccessfully) implemented Dell Dimension computers, please e-mail me.
