                          Assistant Professor of
                      Library and Information Science
                                     
This appointment is in an ALA-accredited Master's Degree Program in
Library and Information Science.  The candidate's specializations
may include public, academic or special librarianship, information
science, information policy, library and information technologies,
technical or public services.  Research doctorate in library
science or information science essential.  Previous teaching or
library/information center experience desirable.  Off-campus
teaching, distance education, consulting opportunities available.

Rosary is a Carnegie Master's I comprehensive institution with
Schools of Arts and Sciences, Business, Library and Information
Science and Education.  The College is located in a beautifully
wooded suburb near Chicago with easy access to this major city.
