Frames--What's the big deal?

While I do agree that HTML standards are important, so are innovators. I
hope more people will continue to develop USEFUL applications of frames and
framed environments. Especially database vendors.
One of the most annoying things I hear about the WWW is that there is often
no context to a page or a set of pages. Frames are another tool for
contributing to the contextuality of hypertext. Are they appropriate for
every application? No. The same way preformatted text isn't.
