Web sites for library staff

Our library maintains a web for staff. Internal e-mail is still necessary
to make sure that messages are delivered, but some memos are archived
as needed. The Staff Web is set up as an intranet and access is retricted
by subnet address, but it is not advisable to place confidential documents
there. The web has slowly gained acceptance since it was started two
years ago. Now, we have many people who input documents, minutes etc. for
their departments, committees, or task groups. They are given ownership
of specific directories or files, and can update them anytime.
