Acrobat Reader 3.0 as a plugin

I am experimenting with Acrobat Reader 3.0 as a plugin rather
than as a helper launched in its own window. I find that when
I view a PDF document in a Netscape window, a separate instance
of the reader, with no document loaded, is also launched and
hangs around behind the Netscape window. Unfortunately, when I
back-arrow out of the PDF document in Netscape, the instance of
Acrobat Reader stays loaded and does not terminate.
Does anyone else find this to be the case? Can I disable the
launch of the Acrobat Reader window without disabling the plugin?
Thanks for the info!
Chuck
