Eileen:

If you haven't blocked the "file / print preview" menu option in
Netscape, a patron could easily be instructed to view the total number
of pages to be printed using this menu option. From "print preview," you
could also decide on which or how many pages to be printed, then specify
the range in the "print" menu option.
