Kill the CNN thread

Hello Peter:

	Your point about no new information on this thread is well taken.
My replies have been posted in the hopes of getting some new information
about either this (hearsay) or other related cases. And, also to see what
this list thinks about the whole (larger) issue of information access via
the web. If you're not interested, please delete the irrelevant messages.
Some of us are interested in this thread, as is obvious by the responses.
