Hi!

	Almost any academic library with a Web presence has a mission 
statement online somewhere. To find some, I did a search by going to:

http://www.infoseek.com 

and searched for 

'academic library mission statement' I got dozens of pointers.

There are lots of other ways to search the web, but this should at least
get you started. Email me if you need/want more info.
