What about the various sites which include telephone numbers but no
area codes? I've hit numerous universities and needed to give a
patron the address and telephone number but couldn't figure out the
area code. Do they put the information on an international
network with the expectation that only locals will use it?????
Until we all become virtual people with no physical bodies, I think
address, telephone and area code should be standard and easily found
information on a home page.
