Colour problems

Hello,

Some time ago someone so thoughfully posted a website that checked the 
colour palettes of graphics, and other neat stuff. Problem a colleague of 
mine is having is she thought her web pages were a nice ochre colour, but 
some folks are seeing pink & other strange colours. I remember something 
about Netscape's colour palette, and Windows, and a difference betweent 
the two...

Any help would be appreciated.
