Unfortunately, the general lists of opacs do a very uneven job. They're
usually good for the US, much less so for foreign libraries. For example,
the Washington University list has 5 German libraries; Hytelnet has 19; but
the list maintained by the university library in Hannover
(http://www.laum.uni-hannover.de/iln/bibliotheken/bibliotheken.html)
has 36 in the A-L section of the list alone, and that is counting
institutions, not all the specialized libraries at some of the
institutions.

I've started collecting some of these national lists of opacs at
http://www.lib.virginia.edu/natlcats.html
and would be grateful for suggestions of additional or better lists.
