My advice is also to drop SCO Unix like a hot brick, in favour of something
more 'standard' and less full of the exceptionally annoying and quirky,
fiddling and troublesome (!*$%#!) peccadillos of SCO. Our group continues to
fight a (seemingly) never ending battle with SCO's aberrations and wish the
choice had been Linux....
