On Database Selection

Dear Friends:

We are developing an Internet-based Information System and we need a 
database management system. Since we have installed SCO Unix and our  WEB 
Server (CERN) on a PC, we have not plenty of space to support very 
large DBMS package, such as Oracle. The basic requirement of our DBMS is 
to support ANSI SQL. Does anybody can recommend some databases available 
for selection? Your advice is really greatly appreciated!
