Many of the limitations placed by lack of viewers for specialised formats
will go with the deployment of Java.  I would forsee that Java applets to
display these formats will be available.  PDF if fine you you are just
using the net for distribution and printing at the receipt site but trying
to use pdf to read material on a screen is like trying to read a book
through a keyhole.
