Perl script for forms

Hi Folks,
I am very new or brand new to this list.  I recently created web page
for our library as part of a course work.  Now I am kind of hooked on 
to it.  My question to the experts is when I create separate forms for
different purposes, don't I need separate perl scripts for each form.
Our web page is not official yet, I am just working on them.  There is
only one expert on campus who is extremely busy to give any answer.  
Also I don't have programming background.  Some times I feel it is like
fools rush in where angels fear to tread.  Any way I will work on these
pages until a capable person comes along, or I may become more knowledgeable. 
Any help is greatly appreciated.  If it is a stupid question for this list
forgive me.  I am just an infant in this topic.
