[Web4lib] IE 9 and Firefox 4

HI!  Even if we don't use the new browsers in the University and the Libraries, our users ARE using the new browsers.  We need to be prepared.

Thomson told us that the compatibility option in IE9 works (and it does) and indicated that they will make their resources work with IE9 in 2012.  These databases work fine in Firefox 4.

Why would you use a browser that does not work correctly with your
target resources, or creates a potential support black hole?

That said, I am surprised that the Thompson folks haven't made their
databases IE9 compatible. Have you communicated with them about this?
